Definition of a “ mandatory” PLC A professional learning community (PLC) is an extended learning opportunity to foster growing It is collaborative learning among colleagues within a particular work environment or field. It is often used in schools as a way to organize teachers into working groups. Keep tracks and collects DATA

THE “GOOD” WHY’S OF A PLC A safe group where to grow as a teacher and share Challenges a teacher and gets you out the comfort zone An affordable way to attend and be part of amazing “workshops” Comradery and the begging of great friends ships Learn how to share and get motivated to create NO DATA ( formal to report)

Suggestions on step to follow Contact teachers Ask your peers at school 1 st then go out Set the plan, time and date, place Write some basic common rules An agenda Today is the meeting Be on the meeting Share, listen, share
