2 Key Strategies of the Enemy 1) The religious spirit:  I must do something in my own strength to please God  Hold on to what is familiar and comfortable rather than moving on from glory to glory  Puts rules and laws, even “positive” ones, above relationship and intimacy. Enemy has used these 2 strategies from the beginning (Eve & Cain)

2 Key Strategies of the Enemy 2) A Political Spirit:  Focused on pleasing others  Focused on maintaining or growing ones position  Concerned about appearance and what others may think  Need to fight or protect a message

Solution to Enemy Strategies Kingdom Spirit:  Humbled that everything we have is by God’s grace  God is good and He is for me  I am a child of God – a saint, not a sinner  Simple desire to be like Jesus - serving and loving people His grace alone empowers us to live free and victoriously
