Social Media. “The use of web-based and mobile technologies to turn communication into an interactive dialogue” (Social Media, n.d.). Social Networking Services. “An online service, platform, or site that focuses on building and reflecting of social networks or social relations among people, who, for example, share interests and/or activities” (Social Networking Service, n.d.). Conclusion Schools should adopt Facebook as a teaching tool There is room for improvement from the use of old methods like PowerPoint slides and lecture courses With the millions of users on social networking sites daily and the growing number of mobile, it opens up another opportunity to link the two together Facebook has many capabilities to offer and time invested into may be worth the effort.
