The story of the Titanic Watch a documentary of the Titanic: 6lQ 6lQ Split your page into four boxes: facts, myths, opinions, questions Make notes as we watch the documentary. What 3 key facts can you feedback? Can we answer each other’s questions?

Reading the story We will read the ‘Sinking of the Titanic’ as a class. In pairs, write down 3 inferences about: -Benefits of the Titanic ship -Problems about the Titanic -Opinions of the disaster.

Quote selecting You will work in groups of 3 to match up the quotes to the inferences about the Titanic. Roles- one runner, 2 investigators (stay by the sheet) The runner will have to select a quote and bring it back to the group to decide which inference it matches. There is one quote that does not match any! You must also create your own inference and find a quote from the article that matches.
