Project Background Included in FasTracks Plan – Approved by voters in 2004 Would extend transit service 2.3 miles from Lincoln Avenue to RidgeGate Pkwy Includes a Kiss-n-Ride station at Sky Ridge and at the future Lone Tree City Center Includes an end-of-line station at RidgeGate with a 1,300 space Park- n-Ride facility (Opening Day) Project Cost: $207 Million

Engineering and Environmental Status Engineering and Design 65% Engineering completed 2014 Basic station design elements determined and presented to Lone Tree City Council and Planning Commission Environmental Environmental Assessment (EA) completed and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) received October 2014

FTA New Starts Funding Timeline September 2012: Submitted request for entry into Preliminary Engineering/Project Development (requesting $92 Million) April 2013: Received approval to enter Project Development (2-years to complete this step) July 2014: RTD Board approval to revise the project schedule with an opening day of This revision, which was necessary to maintain eligibility for Federal New Starts funding, was submitted to DRCOG for inclusion in the 2040 RTP October 2014: Submitted request to enter Engineering

FTA New Starts Funding Next Steps February 2015: Included in the President’s 2016 budget for $92 Million February 2015: DRCOG Board approval of 2040 RTP March 2015: Anticipate receipt of entry into Engineering Summer 2015: Submit final request for Full Funding Grant Agreement (FFGA) Spring 2016: Anticipate receipt of FFGA
