Lesson #18: Substance Abuse Work Day #2 Learning Targets: Today We Will: Learn about one substance that can be abused So That We Can: Teach our class about the dangers of the substance We Will Know We Have it When: Our group finishes our project and s it to Mr. Wriska

So Let’s Learn… Group Presentations  Groups of 2-3 students  Prepare a two-minute presentation on one type of drug  Your presentation must  Be clear and factual  Not include anyone pretending to use the drug  Include:  A description of how the drug affects the human body  One health consequence  One social consequence  One influence that encourages use  One influence that discourages use  Appeals to students your age
