Pliers on Fingers Put a pair of pliers on student’s finger. Begin applying pressure gradually until he indicates the pressure is too great. Just like the pliers, as social pressure becomes greater the more it is tolerated. We should learn to recognize social pressure when it begins. If the pressure is harmful, we should prevent it in time to protect ourselves.
