Around the world at least 1 in every 3 women suffer Domestic Abuse In Scotland it’s estimated that 1 in 5 women experience Domestic Abuse in their lifetime In the U.S. 10 women are killed every day by a partner

In the UK one women is killed every 3 days by a partner or ex-partner Out of every 10 women murdered in India 9 are murdered by their husbands In the United States 1 woman is physically abused every 8 seconds

In a maternity hospital in Lima, (Peru) 90% of mothers aged 12 to 16 had been raped by their father, stepfather or close male relative In the United States 50% of rape victims are under 12 years old

In South Africa one women is raped every 26 seconds Each year 2 million girls aged between 5 years & 15 years old are trafficked & sold or coerced into prostitution
