Today we are learning to… Locate the Amazon Rainforest Identify the climate and its key characteristics. Introduce the key features of the biome

Describe the distribution of the tropical rainforests…… The tropical rainforests can be found in a narrow band 5°North and South of the equator (low latitude). The largest rainforest is in South America in Brazil and it surrounds the Amazon River. It is called the Amazon Rainforest. Where are the tropical rainforests?

Person B should focus on the temperature. What does the graph show- look at figures, months, patterns, seasons. Write a paragraph that describe the rainfall/temperature in the Amazon. Be ready to share your area of expertise. 1.What does the rainfall/temperature start off at in January? 2.Does it then increase/decrease or stay the same? By how much? 3.Is there any month season that stands out? Why 4.Describe the rainfall/temperature over the whole year……. The in the Amazon stays almost constant throughout the year.
