Juliette Low was born October 31,1860 and grew up in the Savannah, GA

Juliette’s family called her Daisy

Daisy got married to Willy Low in 1886.

In 1916 the first Brownie’s troop was organized.

When World War I ended in 1918, there were 40,000 girl scouts in the USA.

In 1905 Daisy’s husband died.

Daisy Low went back to England in 1919 by plane.

there were 100,000 girl scouts when Camp Edith Macy was built.

In 1924 a world camp was made in Foxlease, England.

January 17, 1927 Daisy died in her Savannah home of cancer.

In 1927 the Juliette Gordon Low World Friendship Fund was honored.
