A Report on CHURCH RELATIONSHIPS ACTS 2:42-47

People are like Corn!

Luke gives a summary report of how the church is doing!

I. A Unity in Worship v. 42 United by Biblical Teaching United by Fellowship United by Historical Truth United by Prayer This was a mysterious unity — Something born of God, begun by the Holy Spirit and carried on in His power.

Application: Question: Do we value these elements of Worship? If we want to experience what the early church did, then we must value Worship over Entertainment.

II. A Unity in Work v United for One Purpose! To Work for their Savior! Proclaiming God’s Word/ Preparing God’s People!

Application: Unity occurs as we decide that we will be supportive, active, involved participants! Unity occurs as we value Christ’s ministry over personal comfort !

III. A Unity in Witness v Unity led to spontaneous sharing! They witnessed of Christ through their unselfish lifestyle! People were more important than Possessions!

Application: Immediate needs in the Body will be met! Caring and sharing will occur as circumstances arise ! Believers value people over their possessions!

Conclusion: Unity in Worship Based on key elements that did not change! Unity in Work Believers learned how to live and love together! Unity in Witness Possessions became tools to show Christ’s presence to the unsaved!
