The Dutch labour market for women: some facts 64% of women is employed 75% of women work part-time Average working hours for women: 26,4 h/w (men 37,6) Working women earn about 60% of the average for men 48% of women is not economically independent Women get paid 23% less. A wage gap of 8% is not explained by difference in education or work experience 47% of women think that having children is bad for their labour market perspective 3
