6th Grade Required Courses All 6th graders will take these classes: English Math Science Social Studies PE

6th Grade Elective Courses 6th graders may choose 1 elective from the following list: Beginning Chorus Beginner Band Reading

What do I choose? All 6th graders will take the same Social Studies and science courses. You will also be registered into the appropriate PE course. You have some decisions to make about the rest of your schedule, though!

If you have questions about which English to take, let me know! Advanced English – In order to register for this course, a student must have an overall 90 average in 5th grade English. All students who are seated in this course will be in the Ready range of their ACT Aspire test and will be at or above grade level on their STAR reading benchmark test. Standard English – 95% of you will take this course! If you have questions about which English to take, let me know!
