STEPS FOR CRATE TRAINING Commence training at six weeks Confinement in crate Take puppy from the crate to a particular location to eliminate. Wait for about 10 minutes for him to eliminate Praise him he does it within 10 minutes

STEPS FOR CRATE TRAINING cont’d Give extra 2-3 minutes for complete elimination Take him back in the crate Give 20 to 30 minutes of supervised free time When the timer goes off, you can either: Take him back out to eliminate again Or Put him back to his crate

POTTY TRAINING Put your puppy in an exercise pen Place the potty on one side of the pen When he can no longer control his urge to eliminate, he will likely go to the tray to do so
