Developing a vision for technology What are the desired outcomes? What kind of relationships do you want see? What kinds of flexibility do you need in your learning spaces to support these outcomes and relationships? How can technology help you to achieve these?

Vision for Technology in Learning A set of key expectations which aim to stimulate thinking Exemplification of these key expectations A tool to support local authorities, schools, academies and colleges developing their own visions

Five key themes 1.Enriching the lives of young people, families and the wider community 2.Providing excellent personalised learning and development 3.Effective partnership working between learners, providers, parents/carers and employers 4.A highly skilled, motivated and well-led workforce 5.An effective infrastructure to deliver outcomes

ICT ProVision Prioritise statements identifying them as: – essential elements of their vision going forward – elements they already have (and don’t want to lose) – elements that are not a priority at this stage Statements can be put into a timeline Statements will be linked to exemplification

ICT ProVision Can be used by multiple users in the same organisation Can add comments and view comments made by others in the same organisation Can add own statements Can download as a text file to incorporate into other documents
