THE LIFE OF MICHELANGELO DI LUDOVICO BUONARROTI SIMONI By: Larissa Neto

HIS BIRTH  Michelangelo was born on March 6 in 1475 A.D. in Caprese Italy

HIS EARLY YEARS  Michelangelo was born to Francesca di Neri del Miniato di Siena and Ludovico di Leonardo di Buonarotto Simoni his mother was frail and sickly so he was nursed by someone else.  His mother died when he was six years old.  At a very young age he became interested in art

HIS EARLY YEARS CONTINUED  His father became very angry when he said he wanted to be an artist  His father recognized his intelligence and sent him off to Francesco Galeotas school of grammar and arts  Here he studied the principles of Latin and where his love and talent for art flourished

HIS FINAL DAYS  During his final days he painted the last judgment  This painting received a lot of criticism stating it was wrong and sacrilegious

HIS DEATH  Michelangelo died on February
