CHIMPANZEES

 They live in tropical Africa  They all live in different groups in different rainforests  They live in the canopy of the rainforest  They live for more than 30 years  Babies always stay with their mother  Males are about 6 times stronger than a fully grown human man

Territory is very important for chimpanzees. If a group of chimpanzees go into another groups territory, there will be a fight. Sometimes groups have to go into other territory for food which is dangerous. Groups try to take over other groups territory which results in a turf war.

 There is always a leader in a group of chimpanzees  They always get first pick for food  They are also known as the alpha male  They will always be the main one in an attack  They find the food for the group  The alpha male has the most important role in a group of chimpanzees
