A. TITLE A title is the name of a book, essay, article, etc. Titles may be descriptive and give us a glimpse into what the book might be about. Title sometimes give a brief summary of what is going to come in the book.

B. PICTURES Pictures are often found in writing in order to help us VISUALIZE what we are reading about! (Remember, visualizing is one of our reading strategies!!) Pictures also make what we are reading seem more interesting.

Rob & Big was an American reality television series that followed the lives of professional skateboarder, Rob Dyrdek, and his best friend and body guard, Christopher "Big Black" Boykin. C. CAPTION A caption could be found near a picture that has been inserted in the text and explains or give us more information about what is going on in the picture. Usually the writing is smaller than the rest of the text. This photograph shows Rob and Big during the first season of the show.

D. HEADING A heading is the name of a section of a text. A heading is like a “mini-title.” Rob and Big Rob & Big was an American reality television series that followed the lives of professional skateboarder, Rob Dyrdek, and his best friend and body guard, Christopher "Big Black" Boykin.
