Course Description AP Japanese 4 & 5 we learn…  Demonstrate Proficiency at the Intermediate- Low to Intermediate-Mid level  300 hours of university -level instruction (Prepare you to enter third year university course)  500 漢字

Course objectives  Develop four linguistic skills in Japanese: Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing.  Write and read a short story in Japanese using Hiragana, Katakana, and 500 Kanji characters.  Students will be taught in target language.  Students will communicate in entirely in Japanese.

Homework  You will have a homework packet every Friday and turn it in with your calendar on the following Thursday.  You will receive stamps on your calendar.

Bonus points will be given. Sharing Japanese Current Events. Share authentic Japanese reading materials in class. Helping teacher or students. Having an excellent attitude and by answering challenge questions. Helping to organize the classroom.

Cheating and plagiarism is not be tolerated. You will get “F” and suspended from class.
