Important that we think global also in our communications activities Idea launched at TNC 2012 in Reykjavik to create a forum for PR representatives of national and regional R&E networks and organisations across the globe

3 Connect | Communicate | Collaborate Vision “To establish a learning, sharing and collaborative forum among PR professionals in the R&E networking community with geographical representation from across the world to build the profile, awareness of and reputation of R&E networks and services (and thus NRENs) at a global level. “ CONNECT - COMMUNICATE - COLLABORATE

4 Connect | Communicate | Collaborate Objectives To create a global dialogue among PR and marcomms professionals for the sharing of content, material, tools, messages and campaigns in order to maximise collaboration, optimise dissemination opportunities and reduce duplications To act as an inter-regional ‘exchange point’ and help kick-start the development of new regional PR networks alongside those established in Europe, Latin America and Africa. To promote the deployment and take-up of global services (e.g. global videoconferencing, AAI etc.) To explain the role and services of R&E networks and their organisations, and their economic impact, through relationships and development and sharing of high level messages
