Hump Molds  Hump Mold  A convex surface that slabs or a slab can be molded over  Convex = curved outward

Hump Molds  Step 1  Build a head- shaped hump mold with newspaper, a balloon or whatever  Bring in what you intend to use

Hump Molds  Step 2  Roll out an even slab

Drape Molds  Step 3  Cover the mold with wet paper towel  Drape the slab over the mold and trim

Drape Molds  Step 4  Sculpt the features as desired  Don‘t forget holes or a handle

Drape Molds  Don't forget your focus:  The elements of texture and space  The principal of emphasis

Words to the wise Take your time and use your creativity. Try to think of something unique; add to or remove from the basic mold Your mask must be full-face and functional. Turning in a project that looks exactly like the mold will earn minimal points.
