Overview l Meet-me conference – high performance platform l Support for several simultaneous conferences with a different number of participants l Virtual conference rooms with access from any telecom network. The same conference could include participants from: l Mobile networks l VoIP networks l Analogue networks l Digital networks

Physical platform l Audio conference application hosted on 1HU and 19” rackable unit l Integrating CPU and communication card l 2 x E1 interfaces for the connection to the telecom operator l Supported protocols: Euro ISDN, DTMF, CAS, R1, R2, R1.5 l 2 x VoIP interfaces - 60 voice channels l 1 x Reset button and 1 x Serial interface for local programming l Power supply: Hz 2xE1 interfaces Reset button Serial RS232 interface 2 x VoIP interfaces Power supply connector (on the back side)

Audio conference features 1/2 l Secured access from anywhere – mobile, VoIP, digital or analogue l Participants can access a conference by entering the conference ID and correspondent PIN number l Each participant can be asked to enter his name in order to be announced to the other participants in the moment he will enter the virtual conference room l The name announcement is made also when a participant leaves a current conference l Definition of maximum number of participants for each conference l Recurrent conferences – daily, weekly, monthly l Between 1 and 10 recurrences for a specific conference

Audio conference features 2/2 l The conference admin can establish the start and end time for each conference l Automatic verification of a conference PIN number l IVR and DTMF used for conference access parameters selection l Comprehensive languages for IVR l Participants alert with 2 minutes before the conference end time l PBX transparent for the end user l No special requirements for the administration interface – only an web browser installed on a computer

Web based GUI l User friendly web based GUI l Password protected access l Local and remote access to the conference GUI l Statistics for the conferences hosted by the equipment l Edit, copy, delete conferences from the web based interface l Web interface filters for existent, expired and all conferences l Interface customization according to the company logo

IVR features l IVR script easy to adjust and customize l Contains several steps and played messages which guides the user to the conference virtual room l Interacts to the user through the DTMF digits dialed by the end user from different terminals l Plays messages for entering conference ID, PIN number and user name l Announcements related to a new participants which entered or leaved the conference room l Announcements related to the end time for a current conference (message played with 2 minutes before the conference end)

System capacity 1/2 l 2 E1 interfaces – 30 voice channels per E1 – 60 users can access simultaneously the equipment l 60 VoIP channels available for conferences usage l Several virtual conference rooms defined according to the number of participants l Variable number of participants per voice conference l All the virtual conference rooms are active and operate simultaneously without any restriction Conf Room 1 10 participants Conf Room 2 7 participants Conf Room 3 9 participants Conf Room 4 12 participants Conf Room 5 11 participants Conf Room 6 5 participants Conf Room 7 6 participants Total 60 users/channels

System capacity 2/2 l Maximum 15 voice conferences per equipment (4 participants per conference) l Maximum 60 participants in a voice conference (only one conference supported by the CallMeBridge equipment) l A virtual conference room capacity is predefined by the system administrator before the conference start l E.g. 1 – if the administrator set 15 users in a voice conference and at least one user is already in the virtual conference room, all 15 channels will be occupied. For other voice conference the available number of channels is 35 l E.g. 2 – if the administrator set a voice conference with 30 users and no user had join the conference than no equipment resource will be required l The system supports any possible combination of simultaneously virtual conference rooms – number of participants as long as the 60 users capacity is not exceeded

System operation - features l CallMeBridge equipment has assigned a public telephone number which represent the conference number l All the users which want to enter a certain conference shall dial this number l The participants endpoints used to access the conference number are independent of a certain technology l The PBX used by each participant (in case of landline phones) is transparent for the conference machine l The access to the proper virtual conference room is made through the IVR module installed on the equipment l IVR application and DTMF codes are used for user guide to the conference room

System operation – stages 1/3 Stage 1 l The conference administrator announce the users regarding the conference parameters: l Conference time l Conference topic l Conference telephone number l Conference ID l Conference PIN l User A calls to the conference machine number and access the IVR module l The IVR module request the conference ID number l The user enters the conference ID number. There are two options: l Conference is not available (does not exist) – call is rejected l Conference is available – next step Stage 2 Stage 3

System operation – stages 2/3 l For the existent conference, in the next step the IVR module request the PIN number l The user enters the PIN number. There are two options: l PIN is correct – the user enters the virtual conference room l PIN is not correct – the user has three attempt to enter the correct number. After the third unsuccessfully attempt the call is rejected l Before entering the conference the user is asked by the IVR to enter his name in order to be announced to the other participants. l This stage is optional and can be defined from the web based interface by the conference administrator. System operation – stages 3/3 l When the new user enters the conference room, the IVR plays a message to the existent participants that user A has joined the conference l When a conference participants leaves the conference room, the IVR plays a message that inform the other participants that “User A has left the conference” l With 2 minutes before the conference predefined end time, all the participants receives a message that the conference is going to be ended Stage 7 Stage 8 Stage 9
