Legislative Changes Rating scale on teacher evaluation must include 4 categories, ineffective, minimally effective, effective, and highly effective Changes tenure to 5 years unless a probationary teacher receives highly effective on 3 annual evaluations, then it is 4 years for probation Tenure only granted after receiving effective or highly effective rating 3 years in a row.

Three Plans in the Dearborn Evaluation Tool Teachers in Dearborn participate in the evaluation process by entering one of three plans. Plan I for probationary teachers Plan II for effective or highly effective tenured teachers Plan III for ineffective or minimally effective tenured teachers).

Overall Changes Attendance will be reported on the evaluation template for informational purposes. Student Growth Must be a significant Part of the Evaluation We have created a revised standards of effective teaching rubric to comply with the four ratings; highly effective, effective, minimally effective, and ineffective.
