The Parent Project ® A national award-winning and evidence based curriculum designed for parents/caregivers with adolescents who display challenging behaviors Free, 3 hrs/week for 12 weeks, offered in English and Spanish Since 2010, in San Mateo County, 500 parents— representing more than 1500 children— have graduated.

I am a single parent of two teenagers. When I thought my children’s lives were at risk, I felt lonely with no answers to all the problems in our lives. I took the parent project class when my children were struggling, and I finally found hope. This class will help parents have a better relationship with their children, and help them succeed. – Yolanda R.

I wanted to educate myself and learn how to better talk with my son and I have achieved that. I am now a more confident, strong, positive and well educated person about mental health and stigma. As a result, I have also learned how to better talk with my family about mental health and also educate and inform them. – Cynthia.
