Uniform Policy White or black shirt or blouse with collar and sleeves (long or short sleeves acceptable; sleeveless tops are not acceptable). Bottoms (pants, knee-length walking shorts, jumpers or skirts) can be BLACK, NAVY, or KHAKI-TAN.

Uniform Discipline 1 ST OFFENSE = DOCUMENTED WARNING, CONFERENCE, CALL HOME 2 ND OFFENSE = REFERRAL WILL BE SENT TO ADMINISTRTION.

Cell Phones/Electronics All students are banned from possessing any type of phone or personal communication device that is turned on or in visible/audible use at any time during the regular school day. Headphones and Chargers also not allowed.

Cell Phone Discipline 1. If phone is visible or on, teacher will ask for phone. Turned in to Administration 2. If refuse, written up for insubordination and cell phone use. Passed on to Administration. 3. All phones will be returned to parent/guardian after 1pm in Main Office within 24 hours of confiscation.

Cell Phone Discipline 1 st Incident = ADMINISTRATION WARNING / PHONE CONFISCATED 2 nd Incident = 1 days ISS / PHONE CONFISCATED 3 rd Incident = 1 day OSS Pending Parent Conference / PHONE CONFISCATED

Tardy Policy 1 ST TARDY = DOCUMENTED WARNING/CONFERENCE. 2 ND TARDY = TEACHER WILL CONTACT THE PARENT. 3 RD TARDY = REFERRAL WILL BE SENT TO ADMINISTRTION. *If arrive to class late, sign Tardy Clip Board to left of door as you walk in. Always have a note, if you are coming from another teachers class.

Zero Tolerance FIGHTING=minimum of 3 days Out of School Suspension (5–10 Days OSS progression) Student uses profanity towards staff =at least 1 Day Out of School Suspension

Additional Classroom Rules Sit in your assigned seat If you do not, you will not receive credit for the work you complete on that day. Helps with classroom organization and flow Respect everything and everybody in the classroom Everything has value to somebody, think about it. Show respect toward others and you shall receive it back Do not break or defile any classroom materials or supplies

Additional Classroom Rules Raise your hand before speaking out It is difficult to speak and listen when people are shouting out at the same time Everybody deserves a chance to share their thoughts and answers Only ask to use the restroom when absolutely necessary Use time during class transitions to go to the restroom and/or get a drink of water You will miss out on important class material and disturb other classmates

Get to know your classmates! 10 Fun Facts Stand up or sit down based on your responses to each of the following statements Stay in that position until the question directs you otherwise Ex. “If you went to Raleigh Egypt last year stand up.” Ex. 2 “If you have a pet sit down”
