Objectives: Students will be able to… Evaluate the appropriate role of the government in the economy (business & industry). Examine choices President Roosevelt had during the 1902 coal miner strike. Summarize the goals of progressive reformers.

Pennsylvania Coal Strike 1902 You are part of a committee set up to resolve the problem of the coal strike of President Roosevelt will be looking to you for advise on what his action should be. Make a list of information necessary to understand the problem surrounding the coal strike of 1902.
