Save the arctic foxes They are endangered and need our help

We can help them together! We can.donate.learn to be fur smart.tell people about them.stop hunting them.stay connected.adopt a arctic fox.take action.become a defender of wildlife

What will happen if arctic foxes go extinct? I f the Arctic foxes become extinct it will upset the food chain, which can disturb the life cycle of other species.

Show me a food chain with the artic fox in it

Which one is an artic fox The red one is not. The other two are. later on you will know why.

Why are they important? Arctic foxes are only canine species that changes it coat color within the season.

Tell me something about its habitat. Living things found in its habitat – Gyrfalcon – Snowy owl – Arctic fox/wolf/hare – Dwarf shrubs – Snow goose – Musk ox Non-living things in its habitat – Oil/gas – Minerals – Fresh water – Sky/air – Rocks – Ice/snow

Why are they endangered? S everal reasons are contributing to the endangered status of the arctic fox including the poor availability of lemmings as prey, which have not had their peak years of yield lately. Also the spread of the predator red fox in Arctic fox habitats is also a factor. Slowdowns in the Arctic fox breeding is keeping population from replenishing Itself. White in the winter and greyish- brown in the summer the Arctic fox replies on small mammals such as the lemming, as well as the bird and vole in addition to fish and berries, to survive.

How do arctic foxes effect us? If the arctic foxes come extinct the of lemming would be overpopulating. Plus the balance would not be balanced any more. Which can disturb the live cycle of other animals.

6 Fun facts about arctic foxes!!!!!!!! 1. they can reach 26 inches in length 2. they can be 6.5 to 17 pounds 3. there tail is usually 13.7 inches long 4. they change color in different seasons 5. they can run fast 6. they are only born in spring
