Forces A force is a push or pull that one body exerts on another Formula F = Mass x Acceleration = M x A = kg x m/s/s = kg-m/s2 = Newtons Force = Newtons Fig-Newtons (way to remember)
Forces Balanced – Equal Forces acting in opposite direction cancel each other out, so no movement occurs
Forces Unbalanced forces – (acceleration) Unequal Forces acting in opposite direction will cause object to Speed up, Slow down, or Change direction of motion
