Pokesoccer

What does our game teach? Our learning subject is Math. Our goal is to help game players practice their math skills and learn more advanced levels of math.

How do we teach? A learning metaphor that can support the learning objective would be hand eye coordination and reflex. In order to unlock a new Pokemon character you must solve a math equation correct. Our main goal is for kids to become interested in learning by doing something they love.

Who should play? Children from the age of Grades 5th – 9th A special learning characteristic would be that you get to play a fun game while you’re improving your math skills

Scenes Under the Sea Tropical Forest Snow Land Jungle Stadium Ash Castle Jiggly Puff’s Beach

Levels 1. Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division 2. Square Root 3. Distributive Property 4. Graphing 5. Area 6. Solving Algebraic Functions

Characters There are 20 pokemon characters in total with a specific type of pokemon with a special ability. 1. Bulbasaur A grass/ poison type Abilities: to overgrow 2. Charmander Fire type Abilities: to burn the enemy 3. Squirtle Water type Abilities: to swim two times faster than any other water type pokemon

Our Press Release Blue 2 announces “Pokesoccer” video game Help the Pokemon defeat there enemies in this new video game The new video game designer group “Blue 2”, as they call themselves, has created an educational but fun video game. During the course of playing soccer with pokemon, players will be asked simple math questions to either steal the ball from a enemy, or to make a goal. This will allow extra math practice outside of school while having some fun! The game has a math test in the beginning of the game, which will determine the questions asked during the course of the game. “We believe an educational game is the best path to take with this video game so students can be entertained while practicing prior math learned.” Blue 2 leader said.

Description of Learning Activities Beginning of the game: You take a quiz that determines your ability and understanding in math. During the game: Solve equation correct in order to advance to a higher level and to move further across the field, if you keep this up your team will score a goal. If the problem is solved incorrect, a player from the opponent team steals the ball. End of the game: Since you have reached the end, you get to participate/ play in the world cup because you have unlocked everything.

Evaluation Prerequisites The Game Console Xbox 360 Our Evaluation approach is to get our customers into purchasing our game.

Our Marketing Plan 1. The purpose of this marketing plan is to show our progression of the outline of the video game and show information of our new game Pokesoccer. 2. The business goals is to successfully sell our product for educational purposes. We will sell our game by distributing Ads and having people test our game. 3. Our progression of the game is we are getting ready to start setting up our presentation and thinking of the places the game is going to be based on.

PARTNERSHIP WITH MICROSOFT AND NINTENDO ● For qualifying as a Microsoft partnership companies must have a record of selling more than 75% of its IT solutions ➢ IT – is an abbreviation for information technology ● We have to have our business for at least 5 years ● Past test and have skills proved in their particular field ● ● Worldwide license ● You must submit an inquiry asking to partner, or sponsor with them

Game Info 1. Our game is Pokesoccer which is a combination of Soccer and Pokémon to create a educational game to help student from the 6th to 9th grade better there Algebra skills. 2.The game concept is to play soccer in a game, but there are algebra levels and questions in order to move the characters, try to score a goal, and steal the ball back from opposite team. 2.2 The genre of our game is sports/fighting with educational concepts. 2.3 Our target audience is 6th to 9th grade students who have trouble with algebra and want to better their skills with a fun game.
