Introduction ● George Orwell was born in 25 June ● His real name was Eric Arthur Blair. ● He was a writer and a British journalist. ● His novels were related with his personal experiences: - his position versus the British Imperialism. - in favor of social justice. - versus totalitarianism Nazi and Stalinist (after his participation in Spanish Civil War). ● Fiction, polemical journalism, literary criticism and poetry (genres). ● Satirical Novella Animal Farm (1945) and Nineteen Eighty-Four (1949). ● He died the 21 January 1950.

Orwell's early life ● He was born in Birtish India(Motihari,Bihai),on ● He grow up with his mother and sisters,without seeing his father. ● He studied at St Cyprian's School,and at Eton. ● Finally,he was enrolled in the Indian Imperial Police.

Education ● In 1909, at the age of five, Orwell went to a Catholic convent school called Henley-on-Thames. ● He moved to the school St. Cyprian, in Eastbourne, Sussex (thanks to scholarship). Not very good feelings with teachers and their methods. ● In St. Cyprian he could get some scholarships for schools in Wellington and Eton where he felt better.

Burma...Finding his way ● In October 1922 he sailed on board to join the Indian Imperial Police in Burma. ● A few days later he arrived at Rangoon and made the journey to Mandalay, the site of the police training school. ● Then he change workstation for different reasons. ● In April 1926 he moved to Moulmein (where his grandmother lived) ● At the end of 1926, he went to Katha where he contracted Dengue fever in ● Then he moved to England and resigned from the Indian Imperial Police with the intention of becoming a writer.

London...Finding his way ● In England, he installed in the family home at Southwold. ● He visited his old tutor for advice on becoming a writer (then he decided to move to London) ● He recorded his experiences of the low life for use in “The Spike", his first published essay, and a part of his first book, “Down and Out in Paris and London” in 1933.

Paris...Finding his way ● In the spring of 1928, he moved to Paris. ● Here he felt good for the bohemian ambience and the lifestyle of the city. ● He worked on novels. ● He was a successful journalist. ● He fell seriously ill in March ● He worked in a minor jobs like dishwashing.

Spanish Civil War ● In 1936, he arrived to Barcelona and in the same day was assigned in a trokista party, POUM. ● In Barcelona he participated "Jornadas of May 1937" It was clashes between anarchy, trotkistas and republican party versus national party.

Second World War World War II was a member of the Home Guard. In 1941 he began working for the BBC. In 1943 he became a columnist and literary editor of "tribune”.

His lasts years ● He announced his marriage on summer ● A short time later,he gets removed to the University College Hospital. ● He gets married on 13 th october ● On 21 st January 1950,he died at the age of 46.

Conclusion In conclusion the author George Orwell was a writter. He worked as a policeman in Bruma. He worked as a Journalist too. He was from the left wing. He was the author of the book “1984”. As a journalist he was so polemical and so successful too.
