Green Rate & Community Renewables Programs Green Rate Program For an additional cost, you can choose to purchase clean power for a portion (50%) or all (100%) of your electricity use. SCE will purchase solar energy on your behalf from local developers. Southern California Edison - External Use 3 You can choose to enter into an agreement with a solar provider to take part in a community solar project. SCE will purchase the solar energy from the developer. In lieu of paying the developer, SCE will direct payments to you in the form of bill credits. Green-e certification guarantees that our programs meet strict environmental and consumer protection standards. Green Rate Eligibility and Terms Southern California Edison - External Use 5 Green Rate is voluntary and optional. Bundled service customers, meaning those who pay SCE for generation, transmission, and distribution services, are eligible to participate. You can choose your level of participation (50% or 100%). – One participation level change is permitted in a 12 month period. You can de-enroll at any time without penalty, but must wait 12 months to re-enroll. On this rate you will be charged* the following (combined into two line items on the bill): 1.Green Rate charge o Renewable Power Rate o CAISO Grid and WREGIS Charges o Renewable Integration Cost Charge (currently set at $0) o Resource Adequacy Adjustment o Program Administration Charge o Marketing, Education, and Outreach Charge 2.Green Rate indifference adj o Applicable to participating Green Rate customers to help ensure non-participating customer indifference to the Green Rate You will also receive a Green Rate credit* for the following (combined into one line item on the bill): o Class Average Generation Credit o Solar Value Adjustment (Time of Delivery Adjustment) * Rates, charges and credits will vary based on customer and subscription percentage

Community Renewables Customer-Developer Agreement Southern California Edison - External Use 14 SCE requires the developer to include certain customer protection clauses in the Customer-Developer Agreement (CDA), but has no control over the other terms and conditions of the agreement. All CDAs must include the following protections: o Program Intent Provisions o Buyer Beware Provisions o Customer Complaint Provisions o Termination of CDA upon Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) termination Even with these protections, there is risk in these agreements. It is important to closely review agreements and understand provisions, especially any termination fees.
