A Level Art Textiles Summer Project 2016 Key Information: Component 1 – Portfolio = 60% Component 2 – Externally set project = 40% Key dates: Portfolio deadline = January ESP (exam hand out) = February ESP deadline = May For the A Level Art Textiles course you will study a wide range of Fashion & Textiles techniques, styles and outcomes alongside investigating the work of artists and designers. The emphasis will be on Independent Study and you developing your own style that releases your potential. In the summer before your course starts you would benefit greatly from doing some research, investigation and thinking! So that you are fully prepared in September and can hit the ground running…….
