MY CULTURE

VALUES AND BELIEFS My family's values are honesty,trustworthiness,and responsibility.

COMMUNICATION My family speaks both English and Spanish but we mostly speak English. The first language I learned was English but I do know some Spanish just not alot.

SOCIAL RELATIONSHIPS I don't really get to see my grandparents that much because they live all the way in Florida but when I do see them it is about once a year. I strive to make my grandparents proud of me because they've done so much for me!

FOOD Our family eats lots of different types of food such as Tacos,Enchiladas,Quesidillas, different types of meat like steak pork chops and ribs and the best is PIZZA.

CLOTHING AND BODY DECORATION On a daily bases or on a causal day I will wear jeans,converse,and different types of shirts like t shirts or kind of dressy shirts. Jewelry wise I don't really wear on a daily bases but if I do I would wear earrings or braclets.

RELIGION I wasn't raised in a certain religion but my parents grew up as a catholic and my mom converted to a Jehovah's Witness but neither parent attends any church. Holidays that we celebrate are Christmas,Thanksgiving,and July 4th We also celebrate birthdays but I don't think that considered a holiday.

FAMILY STRUCTURE There are five members in my family My brother(Cruz) who is in high school at HHS. My sister(Alexis) who is a freshman at TCU. My mom (Cynthia) and my dad(Roque) who both work at MBFS. And of course there is me the youngest in the family who is 6th grade at NOMS.

TRADITIONS AND CUSTOMS Holidays that are important to my family are Christmas Thanksgiving And Birthdays

VIEW OF TIME My family's view of time is linear because we have lots of activities going on in our family. My brother has baseball games pretty much every weekend and sometimes I go and play volleyball on the weekends.

RECREATION AND RELAXATION When my family is relaxing we usually like to go to dinner and a movie and then come home and have a game night. When we eat out we mainly go to Olive Garden. When we have game nights we play different games such as apples to apples monopoly and cards
