10/2/2016 DESCRIPTION OF THE SAVANNA A savanna is a rolling grassland scattered with shrubs and isolated trees, which can be found between a tropical rainforest and desert biome. Not enough rain falls on a savanna to support forests. Savannas are also known as tropical grasslands. They are found in a wide band on either side of the equator on the edges of tropical rainforests.

10/2/2016 PREDATOR?PREY, COMPETITION, PARASITISM AND MUTUALSIM IN THE SAVANNA One example of predator/prey in the savanna is a zebra and a lion. An example of parsitism is termites on an African tree. An example of Competition is when 2 zebras fight over a water hole. An examople of mutualism is the relationship between an acacia tree and ants.

10/2/2016 PICTURES OF MUTUALISM, PREDATOR/PREY, COMPETITION, AND PARASITISM

10/2/2016 BENEFITS OF THE SAVANNA Some benefits of the savanna are it protects migrating birds. Also it provides a natural habitiat for threatened of endangered species. Why we should preserve it is because it protects animals.

10/2/2016 BIGGEST THREAT TO THE SAVANNA We are the biggest threat to the savanna. We are using more and more of the soil so its degrading and plants are dying. How we preserve it is we do not use anymore of the savannas soil.

10/2/2016 DOES THE SAVANNA HAVWE A WETLAND? No the savanna does not have a wetland.
