UiB Computing 6 x Sun X2200 M2 each 2 x Opteron GHz = 24 cores,2 GB per core 14 x HP Blade BL 460c each 2 x Xeon GHz = 112 cores, 2 GB per core 32 x HP L5430 BL2x220c kit each 2 x Xeon E5430 Quad Core 2.66 GHz =256 cores 2GB per core (new received, in installation )

New tape pool nodes Under testing right now HP DL185, 12 internal 7k2 rpm sas drives Root fs on mirrored USB sticks Solaris + ZFS, using a plain SAS hba FC card to talk directly to the tape drives Dedicated reading and writing frontends x2 – Two for atlas, two for alice
