The cooperation in economics and management can be devided in 3 phases First phase 1995 – 2000  Introduction of new topics/subjects in economics and management Second phase 1999 – 2005  Student exchange Third phase 2006 – 2007  Implementation of the Bologna declaration in Russia

First phase 1995 – 2000 Transition from plan to market economy Cost accounting

First phase 1995 – 2000 Financial management Corporate finance International marketing Basic macroeconomic theory Teaching in English (some classes with Russian translation)

Second phase 1999 – 2005 Student exchange  From excursions lasting 1 week to one/two semesters student exchange

Second phase 1999 – 2005 Started with groups in International Management from Arkhangelsk

Second phase 1999 – 2005 Two groups from UiT, bachelor program in Marine economics and Management. Visited Arkhangelsk in 2004 and 2005 Aim: To get an impression of the Norwegian/Russian society and business practices Long term student exchange 3 months to 2 semesters

Third phase 2006 – 2007 Russia signed the Bologna declaration Aim: Increase mobility of students and teachers in Europe
