Types of Molds and its Effect to People’s Health

- Molds is a form of fungus that grow in humid environments and surfaces. - Can mostly be found at the basement, bathroom, sink, towels, and baby bath toys or in any other places or things in the house where water is present. - also comes in different forms and texture likewise in colour such as black, white, blue, green and sometimes orange. What is Molds?

The Effect of Molds to People’s Health We inhaled mold spores every day. But if anyone got exposed to large amounts of indoor (particularly) mold-spores, health is in danger. Inhaling this airborne particles irritates the immune system which leads to some sickness. Like Allergic reaction, Asthma, Respiratory infection and any other toxic effects to health.

These different molds has a variety of effects to the health of everyone. Exposure to molds is not always brings health problems to people but some are just sensitive to it. The Four Most Common Mold 1.Alternaria 2.Aspergillus, 3.Cladosporium 4.Penicillium Molds

What is a Cladosporium molds? -is another types of molds that grows both in cool and warm areas. -can be found on fabrics and wood surfaces such as wallpaper or carpet where moist is present. -appear as olive, brown or black in colour. NOTE: This type of molds is associated with allergies and a very rare cause of human illness. Commonly cause of several types of infections 1. in the skin 2. in the eye 3. in the sinus 4. even brain infections. Most Common Molds

What is a Penicillium molds? -often comes on colour blue or green in appearance -can be found in areas where it has been damaged by water. -Commonly be found in foods. Most Common Molds
