Pros and Cons of Teaching Technology By: Haley Smith

E-reader Pros: The e-reader allows students to not have to use paper and textbooks. This also allows students to download the text to an electric monitor. Cons: E-readers need to be handled very carefully, they do not withstand the water, spillings, and being dropped.

Video Conferencing Pros: Easy to use across the globe. Easier to connect and share ideas Cons: One of the main complaints is that video conferencing relies on a full connection. Many video conferences cannot have more than 2 users.

Overall Response of the Pros I believe that technology in the classroom helps students to create and share ideas. Technology also makes it easier for students and teachers to connect. Technology for teacher makes things easier to not only grade but also to teach and show students more videos and links to help them learn.

Overall Response of the Cons I believe that there are many cons of technology. Technology can cause many problems in the classroom and even out. Technology is easy to access but it is not convenient when you have to have a wifi connection. Technology is not always 100 percent accurate and we can not always count on it…

Video Response In the clip of “Stand and Deliver” the teacher uses many strategies to help students learn. He takes what he is trying to teach to make it relatable to the students lives, he also makes students repeat answers.
