Why should we be against corruption?

 Do you think corruption can be hidden all the time?

 Students will be able to :  * discuss ideas about the play through the acts and scenes.  * search for some meanings behind the writer’s cultural and historical background.  * preparing the text gradually to be suitable for acting.  * practicing on acting the text as a team to perform it on stage.

 Read the quotations and answer the quwstions:  "It's a fine life! Everybody treats me as if I was a gentleman."  What "as if" means here?  "I endeavor to serve the authorities to the utmost of my poor power." Comment  `Answer the following questions:  1-What did the judge mean that there are sins and sins?  2-Why did the landlord refuse to send food to Hlestakov?  Supply the missing parts in the following sentences:  But as you are not ……………., permit me to suggest you move to other quarter.  There may have been some secret ………………..  Read and correct the underlined words  The letter said he won't come incognito.  The mayor and the officials were ready to meet the inspector.  The school superintendent always opens the letters. 

 I divided the class into 5 groups

 Group 1  The members of this group were asked to search for some points in the content for a PowerPoint;  Categories of corruption.  Negative case of corruption.  Suggest strategies to face corruption.  They also had to introduce the new words & the important language notes of the content to their friends.

 The 1 st group will make a work shop to introduce the data they collected  The whole class will share in the work shop

 Group 2  The members of this group were asked to prepare some materials for a class magazine  A) Collect as much materials as they could and bring them to the class.  B )they also had to write the sources of these materials in lists according to their category to help them sort it out.

 Group 3  The members of this group had to prepare the text that they should act under the teacher's supervision step by step.  They had to prepare for the sports day with the school administration.They prepared the panner and the logo. all the groups had to share in the sports day

 Group4  They are asked to prepare a poster, brochure and invitation for the play and a wiki for communication.

 Group 5  This group is responsible for the acting of the play. Each of them will receive his role from the prepared text and share in rehearsals and trainings to be able to perform the play later in front of the audience.

students who participate in the project will  get certificates of appreciation.  their personal photos will be put in the class honor board.
