Candidate BackgroundKey Responsibilities Analyst – Fixed Income The UK Fixed Income team is responsible for a diverse range of products, covering both primary and secondary markets in bonds, exchange traded products and securitised derivatives. The team covers a variety of activities to support growth across these markets including research, development and product management. A key focus is managing and developing our customer relationships with issuers, advisors, market makers and brokers. Develop good client relationships to support day-to-day issuer and broker activity Respond to daily customer queries, manage external inboxes Support market development through production and analysis of trading statistics to assess key trends, identify growth opportunities and provide overview of client activity Support marketing/education by updating and expanding range of product literature, maintain and develop website material Liaise with other Exchange departments to support implementation of product launches/service enhancements Monitor ongoing developments in regulatory/legal/tax/competitor landscape to assess their impact on product range Previous relevant experience in financial markets is essential A keen interest in alternative asset classes and desire to expand knowledge across diverse financial product range University degree of 2:1 or higher Excellent numerical ability, experience in analysis of data and reports, research & report writing Strong knowledge of MS Office products, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint Good presentation skills, confident and the ability to interact with clients About the Team
