NORTH & SOUTH FULTON TRANSPORTATION VOTE November 8, 2016

TSPLOST ¢ for 5 years (2017 – 2022) For Fulton cities outside Atlanta. Approx. $570 million for Congestion Relief / Roadway Projects; Operations & Safety; Maintenance; Pedestrian /Bike- Landscape / Streetscape Projects Funds divided among cities based on population; projects controlled locally. November 8, City of Atlanta and North/South Fulton residents will consider separate transportation votes TSPLOST - 0.4¢ for 5 years (2017 – 2022) $260-$300 million, leveraged to generate over $380 million for road and infrastructure improvements in the City. MARTA – 0.5¢ through 2057 $3 billion for transit enhancements in City of Atlanta including light rail transit extensions, heavy rail transit extensions, new infill MARTA stations along heavy rail lines, station enhancements and additional railcars to increase capacity and frequency. *Courtesy of Council for Quality Growth Sales Tax would increase from 7% to 7.75% Sales Tax would increase from 8% to 8.9%
