Purpose The Office of Business Diversity seeks to ensure that qualifying businesses receive the maximum possible opportunity in the city’s procurement activities – directly or indirectly – through a City Council approved ordinance 2

Current Certification Process 8 Current certifications accepted: –MBE (Minority Business Enterprise) –DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprises) –SBE (Small Business Enterprise) MBE, DBE and SBE are certified through North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (NCTRCA) City relies on NCTRCA implementing the MBE policies/procedures and enforcement of USDOT’s federal guidelines for DBE/SBEs per the Texas Unified Certification Program (TUCP)
