Minds in Motion ~ SPRING and SUMMER 2013 TGIF for the Young at Heart years Come and join in the fun! Dances, dinner and a movie, bowling or just playing games, you will have a great time. Come out and make new friends! During this program we will offer special outings and events based upon the interest of the participants. There will be a cost associated with some of the outings. Curran Hall CC (277 Orton Park Road) Fridays ~ 6:30-9:30pm Fee: FREE Spring : (Apr. 5) Enterprising Adults years This program offers physical fitness, community education and outings, as well as personal safety and developing job skills. Heron Park CRC (292 Manse Road) Mondays ~ 9:00am – 3:00pm ! Fee: $104/ 9 weeks Spring: (Mar. 25) Aquafit 16+years Fun, fitness, social! This program has it all. This program is geared towards individuals with an intellectual disability. Please note.: Centennial pool is not accessible to those with a physical disability. Centennial Pool (1967 Ellesmere Road) Tuesday’s ~ 8:30 - 9:30pm Fee: $100/9 weeks Spring: (Mar.26) Chefs Delight at Curran Hall CC years This course teaches healthy eating choices on a budget. You will be involved in selecting the menu, going to the store to shop, money skills, transit training and meal preparation. The reward every week is to have a great meal. Safe practices and some first aid pertaining to the kitchen environment will be included. Wednesday’s ~ 9am - 4:00pm $155/10 weeks (+$25. consumable fee) Spring: (Mar. 27) Social Club30+ years Social program to include physical activities, games, crating, swimming, movies and some life skills training. Participants must be able to work in at1staff to 6 participant ratio. Centennial CRC – 1967 Ellesmere Road Saturday’s ~ 1-4pm $95/9 weeks Spring: (April 6) Minds In Motion Summer Camp Campers16-29 years will enjoy off location trips, daily sports, swimming, games, theme weeks, picnics as well as street safety and TTC training. Maplewood High School ( 120 Galloway Rd.)
