Zespó ł Szkó ł Technicznych is over 60-year-old school situated near the ZOO and the river Vistula. There are about 900 students, mostly boys and only 60 girls. It is a secondary school which consists of many school types: * 4- year Technical School * 3-year Vocational School * 3-year General Secondary school * 3-year Lower Secondary school * Sports School

In our workshops there are 10 rooms but they aren’t well equipped. Most machines come from 60s, 70s and 80s.

Our school is better equipped than the workshops. We have 4 computer labs. Thanks to the European Union money we have 2 language laboratories with 24 seats to teach English and with 16 seats to teach German.

Our school has a long tradition of the school orchestra which participates in many school and municipal events

BasketballVoleyball In our school there are many clubs. The most famous is Sports Club ‘70’. Thanks to this club our students participate in many sports events.

Club members go to many school trips in Poland and abroad. They also take part in treks or cycling rides in the vicinity

We have run the European club since We participate in many events connected with the European Union such as European lessons, contests and annually organized “European Picnic”.

‘Double strength’ competition is organised every year and very popular among students.

It is organised every January to celebrate 100 days to the maturity exams.

We have 2 partner schools in the Czech Republic: in Dobruska and Nove Mesto nad Metui. We have had 3 international projects: Comenius Partnership Project in English between Comenius Partnership Project in German between Comenius Partnership Project in English and German since 2012

In 2007 we signed the official agreement of cooperation and we visit each other every year. Our students go on trips to the Czech Republic, and Czech students take part in the rowing competition and a sailing camp.

The title was “Active citizenship in consumer education”. The project was with the schools from Latvia and Spain

The project was in German. The title was “UNESCO monuments”. Schools from 8 European countries participated in this project.

We started this project last year together with schools from 7 countries. It is called “We go Europe – EUROHARMONY”. The project is in German and English.
