Jolly Phonics A program designed to combine movement and sound to help the students learn the sound/letter relationship Homework- students will bring home letters each night in their assignment books to practice with you. You sign them and your child will return them to school.

Reading Harcourt 90 min reading block with reading groups Walk to Read, groupings can change

Attendance We teach a new concept EVERY day in Kindergarten. – when students miss even a day, it puts them behind. We just ask that you make sure that absences are necessary and minimal to keep your child from falling too far behind classmates. We love to see our students every day!!!

Reminders All important notices that the Kindergarten teachers send home will be on colored paper or in assignment books. Students may bring a water bottle with a closeable lid We encourage parents to send sweatshirts with their students can keep at school for chilly days. If you know your child has bathroom accidents, please send extra clothes.
