Point of this lab The point of this lab is to prepare us for the yeast lab To help us learn how to view cells under a microscope To help us identify cells under a microscope To identify the different types of cells in an onion root To see different stages of the cell cycle in an onion root To deepen our understanding about how cells divide

Learning gained This lab helped us learn how to id the different stages of the cell cycle in real cells under a microscope. This lab also layed the foundation for the future labs we did with cells and preparing slides because it taught us how to create our own slides, focus them, and find structures in them.
