UK CAR SURVEY Car owners on a popular forum were asked about the cars that they own.

THEIR AGES  The graph here shows that the majority of the people in this group are between 30 and 60 years of age. The average age is 40.4

HOW LONG THEY BEEN DRIVING  As most of them are over 40, it is not surprising that most have been driving for years

NUMBER OF CARS OWNED  Again, the older age group have enough money to own several cars each. Most own more than 3 cars.

FAVOURITE MAKES  High-end car makers are represented well here, but it is surprising that so few Vauxhall cars are among the sample. Subaru was more popular than expected – this may point to a high number of rally car fans in the group.
