One Survivor Remembers: Video Questions When Germany invaded Poland, how did many Germans living there react? What were they given? Where did Gerda’s family hide and what were the conditions of the place? What happened to Gerda and her family? How many years did Gerda spend in concentration camps? Gerda thought about committing suicide. How was she going to accomplish it? When prisoners were evacuated from the camps, these evacuations became know as what? Describe Gerda’s physical appearance when she was liberated.
