Aerospace Engineering By Annie Giman Drafting Powerpoint September 16, 2015

What does an aerospace engineer do when they’re not on instasgram? An aerospace engineer designs and creates machines that go into the sky and space. Machines that go into space may be probes, satellites, or may even be carrying humans. This specific type of aerospace engineering is called astronautical engineering. These creations provide information about one of the greatest mysteries we’ve stumbled upon: the universe. These engineers also design commercial and private aircrafts that people use everyday. This is called aeronautical engineering. 2

Airplane Arguably one of the greatest achievements in aerospace engineering. The airplane is used everyday as transportation by thousands of people around the world. Using aerodynamics, engineers in the 20 th century found a way to allow planes to glide based on the way wind hits the wings. 3 Man’s pursuit to explore space is possible thanks to the work put in by engineers. The Eagle that astronauts landed in on the moon was created by aerospace engineers. The upcoming James Webb Space Telescope will be thanks to engineers. Moon Landing

Job Requirements and Outlook 4 Aerospace engineers must hold at least a bachelor's degree. They must be proficient in math and have knowledge of physics. Critical thinking is important Salary is just over $100,000 Or $49.87 an hour Job outlook is slower than average at 7% in the next 10 years
