SIN GROW & PURSUE TURN & BELIEVE Relationships Work Drugs/Alcohol Money Gen. 1:31 - And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. Ps. 19:1 - The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. 1 Jn. 4:16 - God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. Rom. 1:25 - They exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator. Prov. 14:12 - There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death. Phi. 2:13 - for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. Eph. 2:10 - For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Rom. 3:23 - for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Rom. 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death. Jn. 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. Col. 2: God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. Mark 1:15 - The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel. Eph. 2:8-9 – For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Rom. 10:9 - if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Life on Mission

SIN GROW & PURSUE TURN & BELIEVE Relationships Work Drugs/Alcohol Money We see glimpses of beauty, purpose and evidence of design all around us. God created a world that worked perfectly, where everything and everyone fit together in harmony. God made us with a purpose, to worship and walk with God in love. World is full of brokenness and emptiness. We see this all around us and in our own lives, as well. When we realize life is not working, we look for a way out. We tend to go different directions, searching for ways to fix our brokenness, our emptiness and find something greater. At this point, we need a remedy - some good news. Because of God’s love, He did not leave us in our brokenness and emptiness. Believing, we are made new. We receive new life through Jesus. When God restores our relationship with Him, we begin to discover meaning and purpose in a broken world. Now, we can pursue God’s design for our lives. Even when we fail, we understand path to being restored – the same good news of Jesus. Life doesn’t work when we ignore God and his original design. When we selfishly insist on doing things our own way. The Bible calls this sin. We all sin. The consequence of our sin is separation from God, and it leads to brokenness and emptiness. Jesus, God in flesh, is our remedy. Jesus came to earth, lived a perfect life, died for our sin and brokenness, and rose from the grave, so that we could be restored and brought back to God. Jesus came to save us, to do for us what we could never do ourselves. This is the good news - the gospel. Simply hearing good news is not enough. We must admit our sin and stop trusting in ourselves. We cannot do it on our own. We must turn from our sin and trust only in Jesus. This is what it means to turn/repent and believe. Life on Mission

My life is broken/empty – I recognize it’s because of my sin. I need Jesus. I believe Christ came to live, die and was raised from the dead – to rescue me from my sin. Forgive me. I turn from my selfish ways ands put my trust in Jesus. I know that Jesus is Lord of all, and I will follow Him always. Prayer of Salvation
